• Matisyahu Releases New Single ‘Sunshine’

Matisyahu blasts off with Spark Seeker, a bold new studio album that finds him exploring new, uncharted territory with help from an expansive cast from around the globe. The album is produced by multi-platinum Brazilian songwriter/producer Kool Kojak (Nicki Minaj, Travis Barker, Ke$ha) and includes collaboration with Belizean rapper, Shyne and many others. The album mixes ancient traditional sounds with futuristic electro beats, rapping with singing, and songs of the spirit with songs of the body.

Throughout Spark Seeker you can hear Matisyahu embodying the album’s title—and embracing its humble promise. “This is definitely pushing the boundaries of what I’ve done before,” he acknowledges. “It’s a new kind of record for me.”

Spark Seeker doesn’t release until July 17th, but right now you can download the first single “Sunshine” for free by clicking here. Matisyahu will be on tour this summer in support of Spark Seeker – full list of dates below.
