Encinitas, CA – A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of hanging out with Switchfoot front-man Jon Foreman on the shores of Moonlight Beach in his home town of Encinitas, CA. Moonlight Beach is the site of the Switchfoot BRO-AM, which for the past couple of years has benefited the Stand Up For Kids charity in the San Diego area. Stand Up For Kids is a national program, operated completely by volunteers, that hits the streets of America to help homeless and street kids improve and stabilize their lives. Project Rhythm Seed’s Mike Aitken anchored the interview with Foreman, and the two discussed his growing up in the area, what influenced his decision to start playing music, The Switchfoot BRO-AM, and a discussion about the new album and the recording process. This is part 2 of the interview. The Acoustic Version of “Mess of Me” coming up shortly, which will be a standalone video launching before midnight PST 11/7/09. Enjoy!

Check out the Switchfoot official website for more information on the band and their upcoming tour.
