Syco/Columbia Records will be releasing the first album from British sensation Rebecca Ferguson, Heaven, on May 29, 2012. Heaven debuted at #3 on the UK album chart with the biggest first week album sales for a debut UK female artist in 2011 and is quickly approaching over 500,000 in sales. The first single from the album, “Nothing’s Real But Love,” hit the top 10 on the British charts in its first week of release and is currently in rotation at various formats in the US including Urban AC, AAA and Public Radio.
British soul-singer Michael Kiwanuka is proud to announce the release of his newest EP, Home Again, via Cherrytree/Interscope Records, today January 3rd 2012. Amnesty International is preparing to release Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International. The 4-disc collection – set for release on January 24, 2012, in North America and January 30 internationally – contains 76 newly recorded Bob Dylan songs by more than 80 artists. A special two-disc version of Chimes of Freedom will be available at Starbucks beginning January 24, while supplies last. This special edition, curated by Starbucks, will feature a total of 31 tracks.
Michael Kiwanuka is pleased to announce details of his debut UK and Ireland tour this Autumn, as well as a tour of the US in support of Adele.
Michael will head out across the UK in late October and November for his first spate of headline shows in support of his forthcoming second EP, I’m Getting Ready.
The dates will be preceded by a previously announced EP launch night at London’s Bush Hall on the 21st of September, and a 10 date tour of the US in October.
