As I’m sure most of you are now aware, Steve Jobs, visionary genius and CEO of Apple Corporation, died yesterday after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer. Although news of this sad event is spread across the internet today, some of you might wonder why we have decided to write about it on Project Rhythm Seed. After all, we are a music site. We don’t really write about the tech world, or about general news stories.
David Gray is excited to announce the release his intimate live EP iTunes LIVE from SoHo. Recorded live at the Apple store in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, the singer/songwriter performed a select 9 song set from his acclaimed, nearly two decade long catalogue. Gray recently released his ninth studio album, Foundling (Mercer Street/ Downtown Records), which notched a #9 debut on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart; making that the highest chart position of his career. He spent the summer supporting the album, performing a series of co-headlining shows with Ray LaMontagne. He will begin 2011 by hitting the road again for another leg of dates, which will be announced in the new year. You can purchase the album here.
