Hi everybody and welcome to another edition of Project Rhythm Seed’s Free Music Friday. This is our favorite day of the week, not only because we head into the weekend, but also because we get to share some great free music with you, our viewers and listeners. Right now all of us here in the northern hemisphere are in the height of spring, the time of the year when everything is blossoming and flowering. The music business is also flowering right now, with multiple releases coming out every week (Monday in the UK and EU & Tuesday in the US). Consequently there is lots of new music hitting the airwaves, record stores and internet; a great time of the year indeed!
UK electronic artist Chad Valley aka Hugo Manuel has debuted a brand new video for “Reach Lines,” taken from his Equatorial Ultravox EP, available now on experimental pop label Cascine. Manuel, who also fronts UK calypso-pop quartet Jonquil, embarked on a North American tour this past fall with Active Child and Com Truise and played a number of celebrated sets at NYC’s CMJ as both Chad Valley and as part of Jonquil. Both acts look forward to sharing new material this year, with Jonquil on the helm of releasing their new LP, Point of Go due out on February 21 with Dovecote Records.
Hi everyone and welcome to Project Rhythm Seed’s Free Music Friday. Today we have two new tracks from two of our favorite artists. The first is from Living Things called “Fake It Baby, Fake It (La Dame Nature)”. Project Rhythm Seed’s, Myles Crawley, interviewed Lillian Berlin, the lead singer of Living Things, earlier this year when they met up for coffee in Los Angeles. You can view that interview here. We also gave away their Malocchio mix tape to all of you. Check that out here.

On Monday we brought you news on Ryan Adams’ forthcoming release Ashes & Fire. On Tuesday it was all about our pals Switchfoot and the release of their new album Vice Verses. On Wednesday we presented another installment of Rhythm Seed Artist Spotlight, this time highlighting one of our favorite bands of 2011, Little Dragon. On Thursday it was Grammy award winning Chris Cornell’s upcoming release of his live album entitled Songbook.
