Album Review – Crocodiles ‘Sleep Forever’

    By Neal Pickle
For those Crocodiles newbies out there, the band consists of Brandon Welchez on vocals and Charles Rowell on guitars; help from producer James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco) rounds out the group. The band formed in 2008 in sunny San Diego, CA and released its first album, Summer of Hate, in 2009. The album received a decent amount of praise here and abroad, but did not make a huge impression overall. If you didn’t know where the band was from you would have never guessed it; pretty sure the guys wish they actually weren’t from today’s So-Cal, but from Manchester UK circa 1989 instead.
