Welcome to another edition of Project Rhythm Seed’s Free Music Friday. Today we have two great new tracks for you. The first is from B. Fleischmann, an Austrian multi-instrumentalist. It’s called “I’m Not Ready For The Grave Yet” off of his upcoming Morr Music release of the same name. The second track is from a drummer turned singer/guitarist called Bryan John Appleby. The track is “The Rider, The Horse, The Land” and it’s from his debut album titled Fire On The Vine.
Today on Project Rhythm Seed’s Free Music Friday, we are pleased to bring you a song from The Menahan Street Band. We first introduced you to these guys in March of 2011 as part of the background on an unknown artist, at the time, called Charles Bradley (read that article here). From the very start The Menahan Street Band has been extremely instrumental (no pun intended) in Charles’ musical successes. MSB co-founder, Thomas Brenneck, co-wrote, and produced Charles Bradley’s album No Time For Deaming. The band played on the album, and has subsequently toured with Charles as his backing band for much of his busy concert schedule. We saw them at The Echo in Los Angeles with Charles. It was great show. The Menahan Street Band form a tight and driving groove behind Charles’ soulful voice (read that article here).
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist and Bon Jovi founding member, Richie Sambora, is set to release his third solo album, Aftermath of the Lowdown, on physical, digital and direct to consumer platforms, via esteemed LA-based indie Dangerbird Records on September 18, 2012. In a departure from his previous major label releases – Undiscovered Soul (1998) and Stranger In This Town (1991) – Sambora has returned to his roots, creating a vital and visceral album of raw power. The first single, “Every Road Leads Home To You,” is available below for the cost of an email address.
