    M83 Recorded Live At The Nine Thirty Club

    Currently streaming on NPR is a stunning live recording from the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. of French producer Anthony Gonzalez, aka M83. The band is currently on tour throughout the US (see below for dates).Their show is edgy and well crafted. The production is first rate and the musicianship displayed by the band is nothing short of phenomenal.

    Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Kicks off National Headlining Tour

    Detroit indie-pop duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will kick off a headlining national tour in May behind their anticipated full-length debut, It’s A Corporate World, set for a June 7 release through Quite Scientific Records. The band has offered the first single off the album, “Morning Thought” for free download in exchange for an email address on the band’s website. Before touring with Tapes ‘N Tapes and playing several well-received SXSW ’11 sets in March, the band had the opportunity to stop by KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic for a live session.     On Saturday April 16, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. will appear at UHF Music Hall in Royal Oak in support of Record Store Day. Their acoustic set is scheduled at 5pm. The band will also play an exclusive benefit show for Detroit’s NPR affiliate, WDET on Friday April 22, at the Crofoot Ballroom.
