    Muse Gets Cut From Olympics Closing Ceremony Broadcast

    At the closing ceremonies in London for the 2012 Olympics, Muse performed their song ‘Survival.’ Earlier this year the song was picked as the official song for this year’s Olympic Games (read about it here). As it turns out, their energized and highly anticipated performance was cut from the NBC broadcast that aired in the U.S., and music fans are pissed. Not only that, they also cut performances by Ray Davies, Kate Bush and The Who.

    Muse Pens Official 2012 Olympic Song

    Muse‘s brand new song “Survival” has been adopted as the official song of the 2012 Olympic Games that will take place in London this summer.

    “Survival” will be played throughout the sporting sessions in all London 2012 venues during the entire Games, when athletes enter the stadium, the lead up to the medal ceremonies and it will be made available for international broadcasters of the Olympic Ceremonies to use in their broadcasts.
