The Joy Formidable are embarking on their first headlining US Tour of 2012, beginning today, March 12 in San Francisco, CA. A number of the tour’s dates have already sold out, including two straight nights in San Francisco, Boston, and Toronto. The tour goes until April 2 in Toronto, with support along the way provided by A Place To Bury Strangers, Exitmusic and Big Black Delta. The band has also been busy at work on their sophomore album and follow-up to 2011’s The Big Roar, to be released sometime in 2012. For complete tour date information, please see below.
To all of our east coast viewers – the Welsh indie-rock trio, The Joy Formidable, has announced a string of tour dates in support of The Foo Fighters. The band will tour with the legendary alternative rock giants in November for a number of East Coast dates, from Duluth, Georgia to Boston, Massachusetts. The band will also be returning to the U.S. for some brief headlining tour dates in August, including a stop at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on August 7.
